Welcome to my blog! This is my first ever blog and my first time training a dog for competition. Yippie! I plan to chronicle Bailey's training and competition experiences in agility, rally and maybe flyball. I hope to one day look back and get a good laugh out of this.
Bailey is an exuberant 14 month old shetland sheepdog. A great day for Bailey is one where she gets to run around, bark, play ball and eat lots of treats. Sleep is the last thing on her mind. Therefore, she needed a venue where she could release all her energy. We started with rally classes. She completed novice rally classes last month. We have yet to compete, but are hoping to very soon. She just needs a little refresher course. I really want to get her on a flyball team. There is only one is my area and it's a one hour drive. We are going to attend their practice in August and see how it goes. We just started agility classes yesterday. I'll post all about that in my next blog
PS: I apologize in advance for my poor grammar and writing skills. After science, English was my worst subject.
